Mille Feuille Crêpes Cake


You can find the recipe for this cake here.  It's quite an impressive looking dessert and it tasted great, but I'm not sure it was quite worth the amount of time and energy it took.  
This dessert requires a ridiculous number of eggs.
At this point, I'm pretty much an expert crepe maker.
We dressed up the cake with a nice powdered sugar design.

  1. Looks very involved! Did it taste differently than just putting crepes in a stack? Maybe next time do nutella between layers..... :D

  2. Well, there's more pastry cream in it than crepes, so that's the more dominant flavor. The crepes were great for texture and made the dessert pretty interesting and unique.
